As a Senior Manager at Wheelhouse Advisory, Adrian plays a key role in supporting clients through complex tax and business matters. He works closely with business owners and families to implement effective structures, plan for growth, and achieve their financial and strategic goals. His deep technical knowledge and holistic understanding of both operational and tax considerations enable him to provide well-rounded, forward-thinking advice.

Alex is an Accountant with three years of experience in tax and compliance, bringing a thoughtful and collaborative approach to supporting clients with their financial and business needs. He holds a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) from Swinburne University and is currently completing his Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, reflecting his strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Throughout his career, Alex has worked closely with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate complex tax and compliance requirements while providing clear, practical advice. He values building genuine relationships with clients and working collaboratively to help them achieve their goals, whether that involves day-to-day compliance, forward planning, or strategic problem-solving.

Outside of work, Alex loves spending time outdoors and travelling — whether it’s a relaxing day at the beach or a weekend exploring the countryside.

Alex is one of our Junior Accountants at Wheelhouse Advisory, supporting the team with tax compliance, client reporting and day-to-day accounting processes. With three years of experience in commercial banking and construction progress payments, he brings a strong financial foundation and a practical, solutions-focused mindset to his work.

Since joining Wheelhouse, Alex has embraced the world of public practice, building his technical skills and working closely with the team to deliver accurate and timely outcomes for clients. He has now embarked on his journey toward becoming a qualified Accountant and CPA, and is eager to continue developing his expertise across tax and advisory services.

Alycia (or Aly, as she’s known around the office) is one of our Client Services Coordinators at Wheelhouse Advisory.

With around 5–6 years of experience in finance and administration, she plays a key role in supporting the Directors and the Business Services team — ensuring that client onboarding runs smoothly and that our administrative and compliance processes are seamless.

From ASIC compliance to Xero Blue setups, Aly is passionate about creating clear systems that keep the team and clients organised and supported.

She’s also one of Wheelhouse’s Mental Health First Aid Officers.
Always eager to grow her skills, Aly is currently completing her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and is an Xero Certified Advisor — bringing both technical knowledge and operational know-how to everything she does.

A lover of tidy processes, happy clients and a perfectly structured checklist, Aly is the definition of organised. Outside of work, she’s a proud Sydney Swans tragic and devoted dog mum to Teddy.

With over 15 years of extensive experience in both the Private Sector and Public Practice, Ayse became a Partner in March 2018 and became the Managing Director of Wheelhouse. She is a natural leader who places the greatest importance in her staff, not just on their knowledge and experience, but on their genuine commitment to be of service to the clients.

She is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor and Registered Tax Agent and is an expert in all things tax. Her key areas of expertise are in Property Development, Construction, Professional Services, Real Estate and Deceased Estates taxation.

Outside of work, she is mum to a beautiful little girl whom she spends her time with.

Bernice is one of our Junior Accountants at Wheelhouse Advisory, supporting the team with tax compliance and financial reporting for a range of clients, from high-net-worth individuals to complex family group structures.

With a year of experience in public practice, Bernice brings a detail-oriented approach and a strong interest in leveraging technology to improve processes and client outcomes.

Outside of work, Bernice loves exploring Melbourne’s art scene, from local galleries to creative events and can often be found at the golf range perfecting a swing or enjoying a sunny weekend playing tennis and spending time outdoors with friends.

Bobby is an Accountant with 4.5 years of experience in tax accounting, helping individuals and businesses stay on top of their tax and compliance needs.

Chrystal is our Receptionist/Admin Assistant at Wheelhouse Advisory who supports the admin staff in Daily tasks, including client set-ups in Xero Practice Manager, Xero Blue & the ATO Portal and general filing of Client Documents.

Outside work, she spends a lot of time with her young family, either going to a café, taking trips to the zoo or visiting her grandparents’ place.

With 6 years in finance administration and nearly 20 years in business management, Crystal spent a long time quietly learning the ins and outs of keeping businesses running smoothly. She loves working with people, enjoys a good chat, and is always happy to help make the admin side of things feel a little less daunting. From setting up companies and trusts to staying on top of ASIC requirements, she brings a friendly “we’ll get it sorted” attitude to everything that comes her way. No fuss, no drama—just steady support and a genuine desire to help.

When she clocks off, life gets a little more adventurous. Think travel plans in the making, nature hunts for epic views, ocean swims, and the occasional jet ski ride when the weather’s right. From dressing her rescue Greyhound Nipsey in his latest cute fit, and that’s a pretty accurate weekend snapshot.

Daniel is a Senior Analyst at Wheelhouse Advisory with a strong technical foundation and a keen eye for detail. He brings deep expertise in accounting software and system integrations, underpinned by advanced skills in Excel and financial modelling. Daniel completed his CPA in 2023, further strengthening his ability to deliver precise and insightful financial analysis for clients.

Outside of work, Daniel channels his creativity through photography and loves exploring new places through travel.

Declan is a Manager in our Advisory team at Wheelhouse and a Chartered Accountant with a strong focus on helping businesses thrive. He works closely with clients across a range of industries to review performance, identify opportunities, and implement strategies that drive sustainable growth. With a genuine passion for problem-solving, Declan enjoys immersing himself in the detail of a business to deliver practical, tailored advice.

Fred has been working as an accountant for the past 3.5 years, developing a strong interest in how businesses operate, both internally and in collaboration with other organisations. Gemma has been an integral part of Wheelhouse Advisory since its opening in 2016. As Practice Manager, she oversees the Client Services and Administration team and works closely with the Partners to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the firm.

With her deep understanding of both people and process, Gemma plays a key role in supporting the team and maintaining Wheelhouse’s high standards of client service.

Outside of work, Gemma is a proud mum of two young boys who keep her on her toes. She enjoys staying active and living a healthy lifestyle.

Hugh is an accountant and part of the Advisory Team at Wheelhouse Advisory. Since joining the team in 2022, he’s loved getting to know both clients and colleagues, building strong relationships and being part of the collaborative culture.

James joined Wheelhouse Advisory in early 2024, bringing with him close to 20 years of experience across accounting, management and compliance. A true business all-rounder and Chartered Accountant, James has worked with a wide variety of clients over his career, providing strategic advice, hands-on support, and tailored solutions to help businesses thrive.

Away from work, James is a dedicated dad to three daughters who keep him on his toes. When he’s not with family, he loves keeping up with the latest in the sporting world and never misses a good game.

James has been with Wheelhouse since day one, becoming a Partner in March 2018. Originally from Tasmania, he moved to Melbourne in 2015 to further his accounting career and is now a highly respected Director, Chartered Accountant, and Registered Tax Agent.

Jarrod joined Wheelhouse in July 2019 as a fresh Graduate and in that time has completed his Chartered Accountancy studies and has been a CA since 2022.

Jarrod strives to form relationships with partners and clients; his clients love his excellent attention to detail, and he has fostered a mutual respect from his clientele.

Outside of work, he values spending time with family and friends and is a big time Carlton supporter.

Jas joined Wheelhouse in August 2023 as a graduate, following the completion of his Commerce/Law degree. Now working as an accountant, Jas strives to continue developing his technical expertise and professional skills while delivering quality outcomes for clients.

Having worked across a wide range of industries and across various stages of clients business and family life-cycle, Melissa brings a broad skill set to the table in regards to navigating both day to day and more complex tax and ATO compliance matters and client needs.

Outside of Wheelhouse, Melissa enjoys attending music gigs, singing with the Melbourne Indie Voices choir, gym sessions and in winter, you’ll find her at the MCG barracking for the Hawks with her family.

Sean is one of the Directors and founding employees of Wheelhouse. He is an experienced Business Advisor with a strong track record of working with SMEs and high-net-worth family groups, providing strategic advice on business operations and tax planning.

With over 15 years in the accounting industry, Sean has extensive experience across Virtual CFO, Business Advisory, and Management Accounting services. His hands-on approach and deep technical expertise enable him to deliver practical, timely, and forward-looking advice that supports clients in achieving their business goals.
